Wind Turbine Cleaning - Case Study
Our client Indaxa gave us a call
informing us that they had a re - active call out to clean 6 wind Turbines
which had an outbreak of mould and algae internally.
We managed to get cleaning products
out to them via our next day delivery service - which meant that they could
carry out the project with a speedy response.
We supplied the team from Indaxa with premium
quality cleaning products, hygiene supplies and PPE products all available
online or at our trade counter.
One of the products used was our TB –
X Wind Turbine Cleaner and Degreaser.
TB-X Wind Turbine Cleaner & Degreaser is a specially
blended formula of chemicals, developed to meet the increasing regulations for
the energy sector. TB-X is a powerful cleaner and degreaser combined with a
biocidal agent to deep clean surfaces, remove organic growth and prevent regrowth.
TB-X can be used on a wide range of hard surfaces when
diluted including turbine entry platforms, interior & exterior metal works,
blades, carbon fibre, aluminium, galvanised surfaces, plastics, and
painted surfaces. If in contact with glass wash off immediately. TB-X can
be used to remove heavy grease and soiling in a wide variety of applications.

Before cleaning you can clearly see a build up of grease and outbreak of heavy mould.
After the cleaning process you can see the wind turbine surfaces are clean and free from grease & mould.
