clean his marquee’s ready for summers events which will be happening this year.
In Pete's own words....
‘James, here are some of the results with the marquee cleaner on one of our largest Marquee’s.
The external surfaces were extremely dirty, full of grime and mildew this time around. The red wall was the worst one I had on this marquee, I think untouched for nearly a year and half since last use, due to the recent and ongoing pandemic.
We
followed the instructions which were on the website and the bottle which made
life easier. They give the dilution rates on the bottle as a general guide
which was also helpful.
Sprayed once lightly but we ended up using a mop to spread around the marquee cleaner as I believe we misjudged how much we actually needed and I found that if I simply spray lots on, it was ever so soapy and difficult to mop/ rinse off, so it must have been highly concentrated and we probably didn’t need to put as much in when diluting to the correct ratio.

Left
for 10-20 mins.
Mopped
and lightly scrubbed to agitate the marquee cleaner on the surface a bit.
Mop,
then rinsed 2 or 3 times to neutralise the surface.
Sorted.
Much cleaner...of course wont remove paint or really ground in stains but
did a great job especially when agitating with mopping and scrubbing.
The red surface pictured below where there is less of a wet shine on the marquee is the marquee surface dry the morning after, as I left one of the sides to see the difference.
We
are really looking forward to events starting to open this year and we cannot
wait to be stood in one of Pete’s and Big Top Mania’s marquee’s dancing away to
our favourite songs or enjoying families and friend’s weddings and many other
celebrations.
It’s
going to be EPIC.
